What Florida Voters Want
A poll out today from Quinnipiac University shows Florida Governor Charlie Crist still wildly popular here. 70% of those polled approve of the job the governor is doing, and 60% believe the governor acts on principle and not what is popular. How much longer do you think Gov. Crist can stay on this roll?
Lawmakers go back to work next week to try and reach an agreement on a property tax cut. 53% of voters surveyed believe the governor and the State Legislature will agree on a plan to "significantly cut taxes". Are you confident that can be done?

It is about time that someone in goverment cares about the people. Local goverments have been mismanaging for years, at the cost of tax tayers. The proof of this is in the threat of cutting services to save the over payed administrative persons that have created big goverment for thier freinds and benifits that are not needed. Look to the City of Palm Beach Gardens for examples. In 2000, 2001 they reorganized the fire department creating movment for some people adding cost.In 2005 they cut out a Fire Captians postion to provide their freinds with over time at the tax payers cost. If cutting that position was good, then why do they have extra lieutenants and drivers. This position was not rolled down. The Captians position is the only postion that does not have extra for kelly day and vacation coverage. The reality is that with out the reorganization the captians position is not needed, there for putting more units and personnel on the street for less money.
