It's Corruption, Stupid!

The first exit polls came out around 5pm. While they don't give us an indication of which party is out front, they do tell us what voters were thinking as they headed to the polls. Corruption ranked as the top issue among those casting ballots with 42% indicating that concern drove their vote. Terrorism ranked second with the economy and Iraq following closely behind. Of those who said the war was a big factor, 57% disapproved of President Bush's handling of Iraq. Only 41% approved of his performance. Taxes, which the President has been pushing, did not rank highly among voters.

Before Terry Parker trys to spin a positive story for the latest fallen commissioner, shouldn't she wait until he is charged? Common sense should tell her that since Jim Exline has been cooperating with the Feds, some of the charges have been set aside. Terry Parker's story today was irresponsible; we should all wait to read the indictment before deciding if he's "a nice guy" or another corrupt commisioner.
