The Big Winners
Primary night has passed... some observations.
Regardless of whether they're on the ballot, the big winners as we see it from here were Charlie Crist, Jim Davis, and... Bill Nelson. Will the Republican Party rally around Katherine Harris? She is after all at the top of the ticket and you don't want her to drag down the other candidates.
Locally, two big winners were Congressman Robert Wexler and Palm Beach County Commissioner Burt Aaronson who backed the winning horse in the State Senate 30 primary.
Is Irv Slosberg's defeat a good sign or a bad sign in politics. It did show that spending nearly 3 million dollars doesn't guarantee a victory. On the other hand, it doesn't pay to throw sand in the faces of the party establishment.
We'd love to get your thoughts and comments as we approach a pivotal mid-term election. Join the blog and tune in each week to "Talking Politics" on WPBF Channel 25.

Why doesn't the Catholic Church change their obviously failed edict on celebate priests? It is certaily a failure and has been for centuries.
